I started focusing on fitness when I retired a few years ago. My long list of “deferred maintenance” after decades of not so good work-life balance included strength, flexibility, cardio, balance. Lucky for me, Vandana’s varied instruction covers all the bases: Yoga, Pilates, Calisthenics, Pranayama, more. Since working (hard😅) with her, I feel like I’m in good enough shape now to really make the most of my retirement. ❤️

Vandana is an amazing instructor! I have been attending her yoga, Pilate and steps aerobic classes since last year. She brings so much energy to the class and encourages everyone to do at her pace. Vandana has taught yoga, core, Pilates, calisthenics, stretching and other sorts of classes here at Morrisville Aquatic and Fitness Center. I am drawn to her classes because I can be guaranteed of a challenging class with generous options for modifications when I need them. She is astonishingly fit and demonstrates the best form/poses to strive for. She is an outstanding teacher and example of health, caring and enthusiasm.
I’ve been doing Step Aerobics for decades. When I retired to NC from NY, I decided to find a gym that I could incorporate the same type of fitness classes as I was doing in NY. When I saw that there was going to be Step Aerobics classes at MAFC, I immediately got excited because the 3 gyms I had joined didn’t have any Step classes. My first class with Vandana was very exciting and enjoyable. Vandana conducts her class with vigor and vitality! She shows individual attention, and whenever you ask her a question, she explains in detail so you can understand and figure out the cause.of what is happening. Vandana is the best!
I like to start my day with breathing exercises! They truly energize me! I also enjoy being part of a community that shares the same positive energy. Vandana leads these sessions beautifully, and any yoga classes she teaches is excellent. She gives clear instructions and explains how each movement benefits both our body and mental wellbeing. 🙏❤️
